Abstract
Ljudska šarenica je savršen kandidat biometrijske identifikacije ljudi. Identifikacija osoba započinje uzimanjem slike oka, najčešće u grayscale-u, te aproksimacijom irisa na vritualne kružnice koje čine prsten koji će biti izrezan iz slike. Virtualni prsten se naknadno normalizira i interpolira po log-polar domeni čime dobivamo površinski izgled tog prstena u ravnini. Nakon što smo dobili prikaz virtualnog prstena u ravnini, sada je potrebno kompresirat podatke i sačuvat ih u bazi podataka sa svim drugim irisima.
Abstract (english)
Human iris is a perfect candidate for biometric identification of a person. The identification begins with taking a picture of a human eye, usually grayscale, after which comes the aproximation of iris with virtual circles. Those circles make up a virtual ring which is going to be normalized into a spatial domain via log-polar transformation. With Fourier transform we get the final result of iris looking like a bar code. Than we need to compress the bar code and save it in the data base with other irises.
