Abstract
Potreba za novim inovacijama i uslugama u okruženju pametnog grada rezultirala je primjenom većeg broja bežičnih tehnologija. Ekstremnim porastom broja pametnih uređaja i senzora te sve većim korisničkim zahtijevima dolazi do potrebe implementiranja novih vrsta tehnologija. U radu su opisane suvremene i buduće bežične komunikacijske tehnologije u okruženju pametnog doma i pametnog grada te opisan njihov budući razvoj. Uspoređene su trenutno najraširenije tehnologije i navedene njihove prednosti i mane. Predložen je mogući scenarij primjene bežičnih tehnologija za jedan hrvatski grad po uzoru na postojeće primjere iz ostalih svjetskih gradova koji teže projektu pametnog grada.
Abstract (english)
The constant need for new innovations and services in surroundings of the smart city has resulted in increased usage of various wireless technologies. Extreme increase of smart devices in number and sensors along with stronger customer demands leads to increased need in implementing new types of technology. The paper describes modern and future wireless communication technologies surrounding a smart home and smart city, along with their future development. Technologies that are, currently, most widespread are compared with each other, thus exposing their advantages and disadvantages. Possible scenarios are submitted in which wireless technologies could be used in a Croatian city, making in smart. Also, some existing examples from other cities which strive towards the smart city project are described.
