Abstract
Ovaj rad kroz četiri poglavlja upoznaje nas sa vjetroelektranama koje su najčešće korištene za proizvodnju električne energije iz obnovljivih izvora. Predstavljen je razvoj vjetroelektrana u svijetu u proteklih dvadeset godina iz kojeg vidimo kako eksponencijalno raste njihov broj, te kako su se povećavale njihove dimenzije. Također, prikazan je detaljan razvoj vjetroelektrana u Republici Hrvatskoj u razdoblju od 2012. do 2017. godine. Prikazani su i opisani svi dijelovi koje sadrže današnje vjetroeletrane. Posebna važnost je dana generatorima budući da su oni glavni dio svake vjetroelektrane i o njima najviše ovisi njihova učinkovitost.
Abstract (english)
Through four chapeters is this paper introducing us with windmills, which are the most used renewable energy source for producing electrical energy. The development of the windmills in the world over last twenty years had been presented, from which we can see the exponential growth in numbers and their dimensions. The detailed development of windmills in the Republic of Croatia had been shown during the period of 2012. till 2017 as well. Each and every part of an up-to-date windmill is shown and described. Under special account are the generators. The efficiency of windmills depends on them, not to forget that they are the most important parts of a windmill.
