Abstract
Prva generacija mobilne mreže puštena je u promet 1979. godine te je bila analogna i omogućavala isključivo glasovne usluge. S drugom generacijom mobilne mreže, GSM, koja je bila digitalna, počinje nagli razvoj mreže, tehnologije i mobilnih uređaja. Treća generacija mobilne mreže, uz usluge poziva i poruka, omogućuje značajno veće brzine pristupa internetu, do 14 mb/s. LTE mreža, koja je nasljednik 3G mreže, pruža još veće brzine prijenosa koje sežu do 100mb/s. Nadolazeća 5G mreža još je u povojima razvoja te uskoro očekujemo njenu standardizaciju.
Abstract (english)
The first generation of the mobile network was put into circulation in 1979, and it was analog and enabled only voice services. With the second generation of mobile network, GSM, which was digital, the rapid development of network, technology and mobile devices began. The third generation mobile network, with call and messaging services, provides significantly faster Internet access speeds up to 14 Mbps. The LTE network, which is the successor to the 3G network, provides even higher transfer rates of up to 100mb/s. The upcoming 5G network is still in its infancy and we expect its standardization soon.
