Abstract
Zajedno s brzim razvojem celularne tehnologije, također je došlo i do značajnog porasta korisničkih potreba i zahtjeva. Rad daje pregled karakteristika LTE, celularne mobilne mreže za podatkovni prijenos koja ispunjava te zahtjeve. Rad se kratko osvrće na povijesni razvoj, arhitekturu sustava te detaljnije opisuje radio sučelje. Dan je opis digitalnih tehnologija za ostvarivanje velikih brzina prijenosa, kao što su napredne modulacijske tehnologije, OFDMA, MIMO više-antenski sustavi, multipleksiranje, estimacija kanala i sl. Analizirane su i performanse konfiguriranih sustava u silaznoj vezi. Performanse LTE sustava i neke njegove ključne sposobnosti su ilustrirani pomoću simulacijskih rezultata. Napravljena je analiza utjecaja propagacijske okoline, konfiguracije mreže baznih postaja te dodavanja femtoćelija na urbane makroćelije i mikroćelije na propusnost, spektralnu efikasnost i SINR. .
Abstract (english)
Along with the rapid development in cellular technology, there has also been a significant increase in its user demands. The paper provides an overview of the LTE characteristics, the cellular mobile packet network which fulfil that demands. The paper briefly reviews the historical development, system architecture and describes the radio interface in more detail. This paper also provides a description of digital technologies for high-speed transmission such as advanced modulation technologies, OFDMA, MIMO multi-antenna systems, multiplexing, channel estimation, etc. Downlink performance analysis of configured systems is also given. The performance of the LTE system and some of its key capabilities are illustrated using simulation results. The influence of propagation environment, base station network configuration as well as addition of femtocells, on throughput, spectral efficiency and SINR was analysed.
