Abstract	Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je optimizacija predočenog elektroenergetskog sustava uz maksimalan mogući profit. Nakon uvodnog poglavlja obrađene su metode estimacije varijabli i parametara elektroenergetskog sustava. Treće poglavlje obuhvaća ekonomska i tehnička ograničenja pri eksploataciji sustava, te rješenje problem angažiranja proizvodnih kapaciteta uz uvažavanje tih ograničenja. U posljednjem poglavlju opisan je optimizacijski model za simulaciju. Simulacijski model izrađen je u programskom paketu MATLAB korištenjem metoda linearnog programiranja. Na kraju rada dani su grafički rezultati optimizacije koja za cilj ima maksimizaciju profita.
Abstract (english)	The purpouse of this paper is to optimize the displayed electric power system to get the maximum profit. After the introduction, estimation methods of both variables and parameters in the electric power system are explained. The third chapter contains economic and technical constraints in a system exploitation. It also explains unit scheduling problems in the system. The last chapter describes the simulation optimization model. The simulation model is created in MATLAB using linear programming methods. Graphic results of the optimization are given at the end of the paper.
