Abstract
Predmet ovoga rada su apsorberi elektromagnetskog (EM) zračenja zasnovani na biopodlogama. Zadatak je bio utvrditi kako se različiti biomaterijali (soja, pšenica, djetelina) ponašaju u ulozi aspsorbera EM zračenja na način da se izravno mjere gubici pri zračenju kroz njih u frekvencijskom opsegu od 300 kHz do 5 GHz, tj. parametra S21. Za tu je svrhu konstruiran mjerni postav koji se sastojao od dvije Vivaldi antene, prilagodljivog kućišta s biomaterijalom, digitalne vage i radiofrekvencijskog mjernog uređaja za analizu spektra, a mjerenja su provedena u laboratoriju za mjerenje jakosti visokofrekvencijskih elektromagnetskih polja. Rezultati su pokazali da debljina biomaterijala proporcionalno utječe na veličinu apsorpcije EM zračenja, pri čemu je djetelina najbolji apsorber kod debljine od 10 cm (S21= -27.97 dB), a kod 20 cm i 30 cm je to soja (S21=-30.45 dB/-30.20 dB). Osim toga, veća vlažnost materijala uzrokuje veću apsorpciju EM zračenja, pri čemu se najboljim apsorberom pokazala soja (S21= -35.52 dB vlažnosti 0.088 l/kg, odnosno djetelina vlažnosti 0.175 l/kg/0.526 l/kg (S21=-39.23 dB/-64.43 dB).
Abstract (english)
The study explores bio-materials as the absorbers of electromagnetic (EM) radiation. The aim was to determine how different plants (soybean, wheat, lucerne) behave in the role of RF absorbers by directly measuring radiation losses when exposing them to frequency ranging from 300 kHz to 5 GHz, ie the parameter S21. For that purpose, an experimental setup for laboratory measurements was constructed and it consisted of two Vivaldi antennas, a adaptable enclosed case with biomaterial, a digital scale and an RF spectrum analyser. The measurements were performed in a laboratory designed for measuring the high-frequency electric-field strengths. The results suggest that the thickness of the biomaterial proportionally affects the magnitude of EM radiation absorption, with lucerne being the best absorber at the material thickness of 10 cm (S21= -27.97 dB),. In case of thicker biomaterial (20-30 cm), the soybean is the plant that causes the biggest absorption (S21=-30.45 dB/-30.20 dB). In addition, higher humidity of the material causes higher absorption of EM radiation, with the best absorber being soybean (S21= -35.52 dB), with the addition of 1 l of water), or lucerne (S21=-39.23 dB/-64.43 dB), with the addition of 2 l / 6 l of water)
