Abstract
U završnom radu objašnjeni su općeniti pojmovi svjetlosti, kako ona nastaje, njezine fizikalne veličine i aspekti njenog utjecaja. Razvitkom tehnologije umjetnog svjetla došlo je do stvaranja štetnih posljedica, odnosno određena umjetna svjetla stvaraju različite štetne utjecaje na sva živa bića i bioraznolikost. Nakon štetnosti razmotrit će se i utjecaj svjetlosnog onečišćenja na rad jedne od najproduktivnijih zvjezdarnica na svijetu koja se nalazi u Višnjanu. Bitan faktor u planiranju javne vanjske rasvjete su zakonom formirani propisi koji ujedno doprinose smanjenju svjetlosnog onečišćenja i racionalnije korištenje električne energije što je u tekstu objašnjeno.
Abstract (english)
The final paper explains the general concepts of light, how it originates, its physical quantities and the aspects of its influence. With the development of artificial light technology, harmful consequences have also happened, ie certain artificial lights create various harmful effects on all living beings and biodiversity. After its damage, further will the impact of light pollution on the operation of one of the most productive observatories in the world located in Višnjan be considered. An important factor in the planning of public outdoor lighting are the regulations formed by law, which also contribute to the reduction of light pollution and more rational use of electricity, which is explained in the text.
