Abstract
U radu je opisano prilagodljivo mrežno videostrujanje te najpoznatiji standardi MPEG-DASH standard i HLS. Oba standarda bazirana su na HTTP-u, a u radu su opisane sličnosti i razlike između njih. Statistička analiza izabranih parametara koji utječu na kvalitetu videozapisa nakon strujanja napravljena je na temelju podataka iz baze podataka LIVE NFLX II. Analizirani su broj i dubina promjena kvalitete te broj i trajanje zastoja,kao i korelacija ovih parametara sa subjektivnom ocjenom kvalitete videozapisa.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes adaptive network video streaming as well as the best known standards MPEG-DASH and HLS. Both standards are based on HTTP, and the paper covers similarities and differences between them. Statistical analysis of selected parameters affecting video quality was made based on data from the LIVE NFLX II database. The number and depth of quality changes and the number and duration of rebuffering events were analysed, as well as the correlation of these parameters with the subjective assessment of video quality.
