Abstract
Sinteza zvuka je tehnika generiranja zvuka korištenjem elektroničkog hardvera ili softvera. Sinteza zvuka se najčešće upotrebljava u glazbenoj industriji, generirajući zanimljive i jedinstvene zvukove, koji se ne mogu akustički proizvesti. Postoje razne metode sinteze zvuka. Jedne od najpoznatijih metoda su FM sinteza i sinteza s tablicama valova. Glavni zadatak diplomskog rada je implementirati te dvije metode sinteze na TMS320C6713 razvojnom sučelju. Implementacijom kôda pisanom u C programskom jeziku koristeći se računalnim softverom Code Composer Studio, ostvaruju se FM sinteza i sinteza s tablicama valova na TMS320C6713 razvojnom sučelju. Implementirana FM sinteza pruža generiranje četiri različita tona. Tonovima se mogu manipulirati frekvencije, odnosno unosom određenih parametara u frekvencijsku modulaciju. Implementirana sinteza s tablicama valova funkcionira tako da iščitava određene uzorke iz perioda signala valnog oblika, koji su spremljeni u biblioteci, koja sadrži preko 70 tablica valova. Redoslijed iščitavanja i reproduciranja zvuka određen je proizvoljnom omotnicom.
Abstract (english)
Sound synthesis using TMS320C6713 development platform Sound synthesis is a technique of generating sound, using electronic hardware or software. Sound synthesis is usually used in the music industry, generating interesting and unique sounds incapable of being produced acoustically. There are many different sound synthesis methods. The most famous methods are FM synthesis and wavetable synthesis. Main task of this graduation thesis is the implementation of those two synthesis methods using TMS320C6713 development platform. With the implementation of a code written in C programming language, using the computer software Code Composer Studio, FM synthesis and wavetable synthesis is achieved on TMS320C6713 development platform. Implemented FM synthesis provides generation of four different tones. Frequencies of the tones can be manipulated by changing the frequency modulation parameters. Implemented wavetable synthesis works so that it reads through specific samples from periods of a wavefrom, which are stored in a library that consists of 70 wavetables. The order of reading and playing the sound is defined by a specific envelope.
