Abstract
Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bilo je kreiranje testne mreže, te usporedba rezultata mjerenja u tri različita scenarija. Scenarij u kojem je svim klijentima dodijeljena fiksna pristupna brzina, scenarij u kojem je svakom korisniku dodijeljena predefinirana minimalna brzina i scenarij u kojem je dostupna širina frekvencijskog pojasa jednoliko raspoređena između svih klijenata. Svrha provođenja analize je provjera mogu li se mehanizmi opisani u teorijskom dijelu rada primijeniti na testnu mrežu kako bi se osigurala definirana razina kvalitete usluga. Analiza je odrađena na testnoj mreži koja se sastoji od dva računala, dva usmjerivača od kojih je jedan MikroTik umjerivač (koji sadrži opisane mehanizme kontrole toka) i tri UTP kabela s kojima su računala i usmjerivači međusobno povezani. Rezultati dobiveni za brzine preuzimanja i slanja u scenariju u kojem je bilo potrebno dodijeliti fiksne pristupne brzine svim klijentima ne odgovaraju u potpunosti očekivanim rezultatima, ali su odstupanja dobivenih rezultata od očekivanih vrijednosti minimalna. Mogući uzrok nastanka minimalnih odstupanja je dostupna brzina isporuke usluga od davatelja internet usluga. Rezultati dobiveni za brzine preuzimanja i slanja u scenariju u kojem je svakom klijentu bilo potrebno dodijeliti predefinirane minimalne vrijednosti u potpunosti odgovaraju očekivanim rezultatima. Rezultati dobiveni za brzine preuzimanja i slanja u scenariju u kojem je bilo potrebno jednoliko rasporediti dostupnu širinu frekvencijskog pojasa između svih klijenata odgovaraju očekivanim rezultatima, jer jedan klijent dobiva kompletnu širinu frekvencijskog pojasa kada je drugi klijent isključen, a kada su oba klijenta priključena, širina frekvencijskog pojasa se jednoliko rasporedi.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis was to create a test network, and comparison of results of measurements in three different scenarios. A scenario in which all clients are assigned with fixed connection speed, a scenario in which each user is assigned to a predefined minimum speed and a scenario where the available bandwidth is evenly distributed among all clients. The purpose of the analysis is to check can the mechanisms described in the theoretical part of the thesis be applied in the test network to ensure a defined level of quality of service. The analysis was made on the test network which consists of two computers, two routers of which one is MikroTik router (which contains described flow control mechanisms) and three UTP cables with which the computers and the routers are interconnected. The results obtained for download and upload speeds in a scenario in which was needed to assign fixed access speed to all clients did not correspond entirely to the expected results, but the deviations of obtained results from expected results are minimal.
