Abstract
U radu su opisani pojmovi računarstva visokih performansi, zelenog računarstva, energetske učinkovitosti i metrika za izračun učinkovitosti računalnih sustava visokih performansi. Metrike učinkovitosti korištenja energije (PUE), učinkovitost infrastrukture podatkovnog središta (DCiE), zeleni indeks (TGI) i učinkovitosti podatkovnog središta pri radnom opterećenju (DWPE) temeljni su dio rada. Temeljem njih je izrađena web aplikacija. Web aplikacija predstavlja metrike, njihove ulazne parametre i izračun. Izračun omogućuje usporedbu metrika rezultata na jednom mjestu što do sada nije bilo moguće. Usporedbom rezultata svih metrika na jednom mjestu moguće je s većom preciznošću prikazati iznos energetske učinkovitosti računalnih sustava visokih performansi kao i prostor za unaprjeđenje sustava kako bi se postigla veća energetska učinkovitost.
Abstract (english)
The paper describes the concepts of high performance computing, green computing, energy efficiency and metrics to calculate the energy efficiency of high-performance computing systems. Metrics of Power Usage Efficiency (PUE), Data Center infrastructure Efficiency (DCiE), The Green Index (TGI) and Data Center Workload Power Efficiency (DWPE) are a fundamental part of the work. Based on them, web application is made. Web application represents the metrics, their input parameters and calculate them. The calculation allows comparison of metrics results in one place where it has not been possible before. By comparing the results of all the metrics in one place it shows more accurately the amount of energy efficiency of high performance computing systems as well as space for improvement of the system in order to achieve greater energy efficiency.
