Abstract
Rad se usredotočuje se na asinkrone generatore s dvostrukim napajanjem (DFIG), koji se široko koriste u vjetroturbinama za proizvodnju električne energije. Raspravlja se o izazovima koje nameće integracija energije vjetra u elektroenergetske mreže, kao što su stabilnost mreže, niska inercija i podrška naponu. DFIG-ovi pomažu u rješavanju ovih izazova radeći i pri podsinkronim i nadsinkronim brzinama, pridonoseći kontroli napona i frekvencije tijekom poremećaja mreže. Objašnjeni su principi rada DFIG-a, s naglaskom na njihovu sposobnost generiranja napona konstantne frekvencije unatoč promjenjivim brzinama rotora. DFIG-ovi su u prednosti u odnosu na tradicionalne sinkrone generatore zbog svoje sposobnosti upravljanja i djelatnom i jalovom snagom, što ih čini idealnim za aplikacije vjetroturbina. Također se ističe njihovu učinkovitost u upravljanju promjenjivim brzinama vjetra i smanjenju mehaničkog naprezanja. Značajan dio rada posvećen je povezivanju s mrežom i mogućnostima prolaska kroz kvar u mreži (FRT, engl. fault ride-through), objašnjavajući kako DFIG-ovi ostaju operativni tijekom kvarova na mreži, kao što su padovi ili udari napona, pridonoseći stabilnosti i oporavku mreže. Razmatraju se zaštitne mjere i strategije upravljanja uključene u prolaz niskog napona (LVRT, engl. low voltage ride through ) i prolaz visokog napona (HVRT, engl. high voltage ride through ). Rad također uključuje odjeljak o modeliranju i simulaciji DFIG-ova i vjetroturbina, koristeći MATLAB za simulaciju kratkih spojeva, pada frekvencije, prenapona i udara vjetra. Ove simulacije pokazuju stabilan rad i sinkronizaciju DFIG-ova u izazovnim uvjetima. Zaključno, studija naglašava učinkovitost i važnost DFIG-ova u proizvodnji energije vjetra, posebno u poboljšanju stabilnosti mreže i optimizaciji ekstrakcije energije iz vjetra.
Abstract (english)
The study focuses on doubly fed asynchronous generators (DFIGs), which are widely used in wind turbines to produce electricity. The challenges posed by the integration of wind energy into power grids, such as grid stability, low inertia and voltage support, are discussed. DFIGs help solve these challenges by operating at both subsynchronous and supersynchronous speeds, contributing to voltage and frequency control during grid disturbances. The operating principles of DFIGs are explained, with emphasis on their ability to generate constant frequency voltages despite varying rotor speeds. DFIGs have an advantage over traditional synchronous generators due to their ability to handle both active and reactive power, making them ideal for wind turbine applications. Their effectiveness in managing variable wind speeds and reducing mechanical stress is also highlighted. A significant part of the paper is devoted to grid connection and fault ride-through (FRT) capabilities, explaining how DFIGs remain operational during grid failures, such as voltage dips or surges, contributing to grid recovery. . Safeguards and control strategies involved in low voltage ride through (LVRT) and high voltage ride through (HVRT) are discussed. The paper also includes a section on modeling and simulation of DFIGs and wind turbines, using MATLAB to simulate short circuits, frequency drops, surges and wind gusts. These simulations demonstrate the stable operation and synchronization of DFIGs under challenging conditions. In conclusion, the study highlights the effectiveness and importance of DFIGs in wind energy generation, especially in improving grid stability and optimizing wind energy extraction.
