Abstract
Ovaj rad prikazuje prednosti i mogućnosti eSIM tehnologije, inovativnog rješenja koje nudi veću fleksibilnost, praktičnost i sigurnost korisnicima mobilnih uređaja. Detaljno su opisani načini na koje eSIM omogućuje daljinsko preuzimanje i aktivaciju operaterskih profila bez potrebe za fizičkom SIM karticom. Također je objašnjena primjena tehnologije u različitim uređajima te njen utjecaj na automobilski sektor. Iako je eSIM tehnologija još uvijek u ranoj fazi razvoja, postaje sve popularnija i zahtijeva daljnja istraživanja i razvoj za širu primjenu.
Abstract (english)
This paper presents the advantages and possibilities of eSIM technology, an innovative solution that offers greater flexibility, convenience, and security for mobile device users. The methods by which eSIM enables remote downloading and activation of operator profiles without the need for a physical SIM card are described in detail. The application of eSIM technology in various devices and its impact on the automotive sector are also explained. Although eSIM is still in the early stages of development, it is gaining popularity and requires further research and development for wider adoption.
