Abstract
Zadatak praktičnog dijela ovog rada bio je osmisliti praktični primjer korištenja legura s pamćenjem oblika. Nakon obavljenog istraživanja pronašao sam primjer nitinol motora koji sam i opisao u predzadnjem poglavlju diplomskog rada. Na temelju tog primjera odlučio sam osmisliti postrojenje za proizvodnju električne energije na temelju nitinol motora. Nitinol motori koriste se kao pogonski strojevi. U praktičnom dijelu prikazan je i izračun snage motora (jednog obruča) koji se kasnije spaja s drugima kako bi se povećala snaga. Snaga jedne opruge ovisi o promjeru žice od koje je napravljena opruga te koliko se opruga izduži. Prilikom osmišljavanja postrojenja bilo je potrebno prvo izračunati koliku bi snagu davao jedan motor s 24 opruge (135 W). Nakon toga bilo je potrebno povećati iznos te snage budući da je za potrebe kućanstva potrebna znatno veća snaga. U sustav solarnih kolektora je ugrađeno 15 obruča (30 opruga svaki) na istu osovinu kako bi se ukupna snaga povećala na 3 kW. S obzirom na to, sustav se isplati za 7 godina. Nakon kućnog sustava odlučio sam dalje povećati snagu te postaviti na izlaz termoelektrane toplane. U tom primjeru postavljeno je četiri sustava motora (svaki motor 700 kW snage). Za svaki sustav je postavljeno 100 obruča; svaki sa 150 opruga. Ukupna snaga iznosi 2 MW te se navedeni sustav isplati za 16.3 godine.
Abstract (english)
Goal of the practical part of this paper was to figure out the practical way of using shape memory alloys. After having done all the research, I have found the example of the nitinol engine which is described in the penultimate chapter of this paper. Based on that example, I came up with the idea of using the nitinol engine for producing electric power. In that facility nitinol engines are used as propulsive machine. In practical part, engine power calculation (of one hoop) is also shown, which is later merged with more hoops for more power. Strength of one spring depends on wire diameter and spring extension. In the process of building the engine, first thing I had to calculate was the maximum power output of one engine with 24 springs (135W). The next task was to increase power output because power consumption of the household is more than 135W. Solar heating system is mounted with 15 hoops (30 spring each) on the same axle to increase power output up to 3 kW. In this configuration system repayment is seven years. After household system, I have decided to further increase the power output and connect it on the hot water output in cogeneration
