Abstract
U završnom radu objašnjeni su fizikalni mehanizmi prijenosa topline kondukcijom, konvekcijom i zračenjem. Opisani su postupci te dani odgovarajući izrazi kojima se izračunavaju toplinski otpori. Detaljno su objašnjene pojave koje prate rad Peltierovog elementa (modula): Peltierov efekt, Seebeckov efekt i Thomsonov efekt. Prikazane su odgovarajuće nadomjesne sheme termoelektričnog modula. Opisan je postupak izrade termoelektričnog hladnjaka. Prikazani su i detaljno opisani mjerni postupci kojima su izmjerene različite toplinske veličine mjerodavnih za analizu i opis rada termoelektričnog hladnjaka. Svaki mjerni postupak potkrijepljen je odgovarajućom fizikalnom slikom i matematičkim instrumentarijem. Izneseni su modeli kojima je opisan rad termoelektričnog hladnjaka u ustaljenom i prijelaznom stanju. Valjanost prezentiranih modela potvrĎena je usporedbom simulacijskih i mjernih rezultata. Svi mjerni i simulacijski rezultati su analizirani i komentirani.
Abstract (english)
In final thesis there are explained physical mechanisms of heat transfer by conduction, convection and radiation. There are described procedures and given corresponding terms used to calculate thermal resistances. Phenomena that are following work of Peltier element (module) such as are: Peltier's effect, Seebeck's effect and Thomson's effect are described in detail. Equivalent circuits for the thermoelectric module are shown. The process of making a thermoelectric cooler is described. Measurement methods used for measuring the various relevant thermal quantities for the analysis and describing the operation of the thermoelectric cooler are shown and described in detail. Each measuring procedure is supported by the appropriate physical picture and mathematical background. Models describing the operation of a thermoelectric cooler in a steady and transient state are presented. The validity of the presented models was verified by comparing the simulation and measurement results. All measurement and simulation results were analyzed and commented.
