Abstract
Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi problematikom učenja na daljinu. Prvo je navedena definicija samog učenja koju slijedi kronološki pregled edukativnih alata. Učenje na daljinu korijene nalazi još u davnoj 1840. godini. Sir Isaac Pitman tada je postavio temelje oblika edukacije koja još uvijek čeka svoj trenutak. Zahvaljujući današnjoj tehnologiji, Pitman-ova ideja bliže je realizaciji nego ikada. Rad pokriva neke od najznačajnih tehnoloških ostvarenja koja se već koriste u današnjoj edukaciji i pogodna su za realizaciju učenja na daljinu. Ponuđena je i detaljna analiza jedne aplikacije koja se u ovom radu koristi za uspješnu implementaciju sustava za učenje na daljinu.
Abstract (english)
This paper deals with problems of distance learning. It defines the meaning of learning and provides a chronological list of different educational tools that were used in classrooms through history. Distance learning has it's roots in 1840. thanks to Sir Isaac Pitman. Back then Pitman was the founder of a new way of learning that yet needs to be developed. With the help of today's technology Pitman's work could finnaly see the light of day. This paper also reviews on of the most popular application created specially for distance learning. The same application is used for distance learning system implementation.
