Abstract
Ozbiljne igre su igre kojima primarna svrha nije zabava, nego razvijanje igračevih vještina i proširenje njegovog znanja. Velik primjenu imaju u medicini i vojsci, jer smanjuju troškove obučavanja osoblja. Jedan od najuspješnijih primjer ozbiljne igre je America's Army. Ozbiljne igre u medicini dijele na igre za medicinsko osoblje i igre za nemedicinsko osoblje. Ozbiljne igre za nemedicinsko osoblje mogu biti usmjerene na zdravlje, otkrivanje bolesti, liječenje bolesti i rehabilitaciju nakon bolesti. Ozbiljna igra Tremble Before Me razvijena je za Android uređaje, te pomaže u otkrivanju Parkinsonove bolesti. Igra, pomoću žiroskopa, prati pokrete korisnikove ruke i daje mu povratnu informaciju o njegovom uspjehu tijekom igre. Igrači koji su odigrali nekoliko rundi igre tvrde da je igra vizualno ugodna, intuitivna, zabavna i laka za igranja, no također tvrde da igra nakon određenog vremena prestaje biti zabavna. Potrebna su dodatne opcije u načinu igranja da se zadrže korisnici duže vrijeme.
Abstract (english)
Serious games are games whose primary purpose is not to entertain, but to develop a player's skills and expand his knowledge. They are of great use in medicine and the military, because they reduce the cost of training staff. One of the most successful examples of a serious game is America's Army. Serious games in medicine are divided into games for medical staff and games for non-medical staff. Serious games for non-medical staff can focus on health, disease detection, disease treatment and post-illness rehabilitation. A serious game Tremble Before Me is developed for Android devices and helps detect Parkinson's disease. The game, using a gyroscope, monitors the movements of the user's hand and gives him feedback on his success during the game. Players who have played several rounds of the game claim that the game is visually pleasing, intuitive, fun and easy to play, but also claim that the game stops being fun after a while. Additional in-game options are needed to keep users engaged for longer.
