Abstract
U ovom radu prikazana je evolucija mobilnih komunikacijskih sustava od prve (1G) generacije do pete (5G) generacije. Navedeni su razlozi uvođenja nove pete generacije mobilnih mreža i izazovi za 5G mrežu. Opisana je arhitektura mreže pete generacije i određeni principi virtualizacije mrežnih funkcija. Predstavljeni su slučajevi upotrebe pete generacije i zahtjevi za kvalitetu usluge koje 5G mreža mora ispuniti.
Abstract (english)
This paper provides an overview of the evolution of mobile communication systems from first (1G) to fifth (5G) generation. The reasons for implementing the new fifth generation of mobile networks are explained as well as the challenges for the 5G networks. The network architecture of fifth generation and the principles of network function virtualisation are described. Use cases and the quality of service requirements for the fifth generation are also introduced.
