Abstract
Zadatak završnog rada bio je napraviti video igru pomoću C# programskog jezika koja bi se pokretala na Android operativnom sustavu. Igra bi se bavila temom problemskog šaha, u smislu šahovskog problema 4 kraljice, samo unutar igre imali bi mogućnost odabira dimenzija šahovnice i vrsta figura s kojima igramo. Radi osiguranja da igrač ne bi završio u igri bez kraja, potrebno je bilo napraviti metodu koja bi provjeravala dali određena kombinacija figura i dimenzija polja ima validno rješenje. To smo postigli implementacijom algoritma za unatražno pretraživanje, koji vrlo temeljito prolazi kroz slučaj i ne ostavlja mjesta pogrešci. Unutar igre dodana je i mogućnost da se pokaže samo rješenje, bez da se igra zaigra, koje je prvo validno rješenje algoritma za unatražno pretraživanje. Kada se igra zaigra, prate se standardna pravila kretanja figura po ploči, koja nam budu označena žutim okvirom i daju do znanja gdje se odabrana figura može postaviti. Kada igrač uspije pronaći rješenje, pojavljuje se poruka da je pobjedio, i tada može ponovno pokrenuti igru ili se vratiti u glavni izbornik i namjestiti nove vrijednosti za drugu igru. Sam rad je podijeljen u 3 poglavlja, ako izostavimo uvod i zaključak. U prvom dijelu govorimo o tehnologijama i metodama koje smo koristili za izradu igre i o problemu koji rješavamo, u drugom dijelu prolazimo kroz programski kod i razvojni proces igre, dok u trećem pokazujemo stvarni primjer igre te pojašnjavamo kako igra funkcionira.
Abstract (english)
The task of the final paper was to create a video game using the C# programming language that would run on the Android operating system. The game would deal with the theme of problem chess, in the sense of the 4 queens chess problem, only within the game we would have the option of choosing the dimensions of the chessboard and the types of pieces we play with. In order to ensure that the player would not end up in a never-ending game, it was necessary to create a method that would check if a certain combination of figures and dimensions of the field has a valid solution. We achieved this by implementing a backtracking algorithm, which goes through the case very thoroughly and leaves no room for error. Within the game, the option to show only the solution, without playing the game, which is the first valid solution of the backtracking algorithm, has been added. When the game is played, the standard rules for the movement of pieces on the board are followed, which are marked with a yellow frame and let us know where the chosen piece can be placed. When the player succeeds in finding the solution, a win message appears, and they can restart the game or return to the main menu and set new values for another game. The paper itself is divided into 3 chapters, if we omit the introduction and conclusion. In the first part we talk about the technologies we used to create the game, in the second we talk about the problem we are solving and the methods we use to solve the problem, while in the third part we go through the program code and the development process of the game, and explain how the game works.
