Abstract
Ovaj rad proučava ključne pojmove elektrokardiografije, uključujući građu srca, elektode, vodove, sastavne elemenate EKG signala te interpretaciju elektrokardiograma. Navedeni pojmovi pružaju temelj za daljnje razumijevanje i izradu aplikacije. Zadatak rada je pronaći ili prepoznati R-vrhove unutar EKG signala, a neke od postojećih metoda su Pan-Tompkinsov algoritam, wavelet transformacija te neuronske mreže. Aplikacija za detekciju R-vrhova u EKG signalima razvijena je pomoću Pan-Tompkinsovog algoritma. Glavni koraci ovog algoritma za obradu signala su filtriranje, derivacija signala, kvadriranje i integracija. Implementacija aplikacije rezultirala je preciznom detekcijom R-vrhova te njihovom vizualizacijom unutar EKG signala. Aplikacija je testirana na različitim zapisima iz MIT-BIH Arrhythmia baze podataka i pokazala je visoku točnost u detekciji R-vrhova. Međutim, određeni šumovi i smetnje mogu utjecati na preciznost detekcije, što ukazuje na važnost daljnje optimizacije algoritma kako bi se smanjio broj lažno pozitivnih i lažno negativnih detekcija. Ovaj rad prikazuje kako suvremeni alati i tehnike obrade signala mogu značajno unaprijediti procese u medicinskoj dijagnostici, omogućujući bržu i precizniju analizu EKG signala.
Abstract (english)
This paper examines key concepts of electrocardiography, including heart structure, electrodes, leads, components of ECG signals and interpretation of electrocardiograms. These concepts provide the basis for further understanding and creation of the application. The task of this paper is to find or recognize R-peaks within the ECG signal, and some of the existing methods are Pan-Tompkins algorithm, wavelet transformation and neural network. The R-peak detection application in ECG signals was developed using the Pan-Tompkins algorithm. The main steps of this algorithm are filtering, signal derivation, squaring and integration. Implementation of the application resulted in accurate detection of R-peaks and their visualization within the ECG signal. The application was tested on various records from the MIT-BIH Arrhythmia database and showed high accuracy in R-peak detection. However, certain noise and disturbances may affect the accuracy of detection, indicating the importance of further optimization of the algorithm in order to reduce the number of false positive and false negative detections. This paper shows that modern tools and techniques for signal processing can significantly improve processes in medical diagnostics, enabling faster and more precise analysis of ECG signals.
