Abstract
RCS usluge pružaju iskustvo telekomunikacija na višoj razini od glasovne usluge i SMS-a, tako što korisnicima nudi usluge poput „instant“ poruka ili chata, live videa ili dijeljenja datoteka (engl. file sharing) putem uređaja, preko bilo koje mreže. RCS sustav se temelji na korištenju podatkovne veze. U radu je prikazano rješenje koje su ponudili neki od vodećih svjetskih proizvođača opreme i teleoperatora, te rješenje Hrvatskog Telekoma u suradnji s Ericssonom. Na temelju njihovog tehničkog rješenja testirane su neke od usluga u laboratorijskom okruženju uz priložene rezultate i pripadajuću analizu.
Abstract (english)
RCS services provide higher-level telecommunication experience than voice and SMS services. This enables services like instant messaging, chat, live video or file sharing through devices on any network. RCS system is based on using data network. This paper shows solution offered by some of world leading equipment manufacturers, telecommunications companies and solution of Croatian Telekom in cooperation with Ericsson. Based on their technical solution, some of the services were tested in laboratory environment with corresponding results and analysis.
