Abstract
Potreba za električnom energijom je u stalnom porastu, a pošto proizvodnja i potrošnja električne energije uvijek trebaju biti jednake samim time i proizvodnja mora rasti. Zbog globalnog zatopljenja i iz razloga što zalihe fosilnih goriva neće trajati vječno, ne možemo nastavit gradit konvencionalne elektrane na fosilna goriva. Sve veću potrebu za električnom energijom moramo osigurati iz obnovljivih izvora energija. Jedan od obnovljivih izvora energije su solarne termoelektrane koje za proizvodnju električne energije iskorištavaju Sunčevo zračenje koje je besplatno i za ljudsko poimanje vremena neiscrpno. Solarne termoelektrane imaju velik potencijal te treba nastavit ulagat u njihovo daljnje razvijanje te se očekuje da će u bliskoj budućnosti znatan dio električne energije proizvoditi upravo one.
Abstract (english)
The need for electricity is on a steady rise, and as production and consumption of electricity always need to be the same, production has to grow. Due to global warming and the fact that fossil fuels will not last forever, we can not continue building a conventional fossil fuel power plants. We need to provide renewable energy sources with increasing demand for electricity. One of the renewable sources of energy is solar thermal power plants that use solar radiation that is free of charge and for human timing inexhaustible for the production of electricity. Solar thermal power plants have great potential and need to continue investing in their further development and it is expected that in the near future a significant portion of the electricity will produce exactly those.
