Abstract
Nalazimo se u svijetu koji je sastavljen od keramike. Često neprimjetna, ona se uvukla u gotovo sva područja čovjekova života. U ovom radu daje se uvid u povijest i razvoj keramike, od njenih početaka do primjene u modernim tehnologijama, te u njezina svojstva općenito, s posebnim naglaskom na elektrokeramiku. Opisana je njezina primjena u elektrotehničkom području, od elektrokeramike do poluvodičke keramike. Na nekoliko primjera su detaljnije opisane neke od komponenti električnih ili elektroničkih uređaja i bit keramike u njima.
Abstract (english)
World around us is made of ceramics. Often unnoticed, it has crept into almost every area of human life. This paper gives an insight into the history and development of ceramics, from its beginnings to modern tehnology, and its properties in general, with particular emphasis on electro ceramics. Its application in the electrical field, from electro ceramics to semoconducting ceramics, is described. On a few examples some of the components of electrical or electronic devices are described in more detail and the essence of ceramics in them.
