Abstract
Rad opisuje znanost biometrije i biometrijske metode za identifikaciju osoba. Drugi dio rada se posebno fokusira na karakteristike, dohvaćanje karakteristika i opće korištenje identifikacije osoba putem značajki dlana i prstiju. Za bolju predodžbu postupka stvaranja jednog sustava za identifikaciju osobe putem značajki dlana, rad koristi jedan od izvora u kojem je navedeni sustav ostvaren.
Abstract (english)
The content of this paper briefly describes biometric science and biometric methods for person identification. Second part of the paper focuses on characteristics, ways of extraction and general use of person identification based on palm and finger characteristics. An already established system for person identification is used in purpose of specifically explaining what the approach would be when trying to create such a system.
