Abstract
U radu je prikazana važnost energije vjetra te načini na koji se ona , kroz povijest pa sve do danas koristi. Također, objašnjene su fizikalne osnove energije vjetra te je opisan razvoj modernih vjetroagregata. Predstavljene su različite vrste vjetroagregata kao i način na koji oni rade. Posebno su naglašeni osnovni dijelovi i struktura vjetroagregata. U radu su prikazani različiti materijali od kojih su izrađene pojedine komponente vjetroagregata te su navedena njihova svojstva i utjecaj na samu strukturu vjetroagregata. Na kraju rada su navedeni problemi i izazovi koji nastaju nakon završetka životnog vijeka vjetroagregata kao i mogućnosti rješavanja spomenutih problema.
Abstract (english)
The paper shows the importance of wind energy and the ways in which it has been used throughout history to the present day. Also, the physical basis of wind energy is explained, along with the development of modern wind turbines. Different types of wind turbines are presented, as well as the way they work. The basic parts and structure of wind turbines are especially emphasized. The paper presents various materials which individual components of wind turbines are made of, together with their properties and influence on the structure of the wind turbine. Finally, the work shows the problems and challenges that arise at the end of the lifetime of wind turbines, as well as the possibilities of solving the mentioned problems.
