Abstract
Veliki napredak web tehnologija omogućio je izgradnju sustava sa velikim brojem funkcionalnosti i skalabilnosti web aplikacija. Napretkom poslužiteljskih tehnologija doprinijelo je velikoj responzivnosti i interaktivnosti modernih korisničkih sučelja. Kombinacijom toga razvijeni su kompleksni sustavi društvenih mreža koji omogućavaju ljudima diljem svijeta da se međusobno povežu bez obzira na međusobnu udaljenost u interesne zajednice. Danas postoji veliki broj društvenih mreža opće namjene kao i društvenih mreža usko specijalizirane tematike. Društvena mreža za avanturiste omogućava korisnicima koji ispunjavaju svoje slobodno vrijeme izletima i putovanjima da ista podijele sa drugim korisnicima istih interesa u obliku opisa svoga putovanja i slike koja služi kao vrst virtualne razglednice. Također omogućava korisnicima da izražavaju želje u pogledu budućih putovanja i dogovorima oko budućih izleta i putovanja sa ostalim korisnicima. Aplikacija je napisana u Python programskom jeziku uz pomoć Django programskog okvira za izradu web aplikacija na poslužiteljskoj strani uz jQuery i MaterializeCSS za izradu korisničko sučelja.
Abstract (english)
Rapid progress of web technologies has enabled the creation of systems with very large number of functionalitys as well as great scalability of web applications. The advancement of client side technologies has greatly contributed to the responsivity as well as interactivity of modern user interfaces. Combining those two things has enabled the development of complex social networking systems which enable to all the people in the world to connect to each other, regardless of the physical distance between them. Today exists great number of general purpose social networks as well as highly specialized social networks. Social network for adventurists enables its users who like to spend their free time on field trips and journeys to share their memories with other users of the same interest in the form of small journey log as well as a picture which serves like a postcard. It also enables users to express their wishes regarding their future journeys and make future arrangements with their friends. Application was written with Python programming language with the help of Django web framework on server side as well as jQuery and MaterializeCSS on client side.
