Abstract
U radu su opisani dizel agregati koji za zadatak imaju održavanje besprekidnog napajanja. Opisan je princip rada te analiziran rad generatora i dizel motora s unutarnjim izgaranjem kao dva ključna dijela agregata . Dane su informacije o osnovnim zahtijevima na dizel motor koji služi kao pokretač, a veći je naglasak stavljen na generator kao ključni električni dio agregata. Budući kako sam agregat ne ispunjava sve zahtjeve na kvalitetu električne energije, dotaknuli smo se i UPS sustava za održavanje besprekidnog napajanja, koji služi kao dopuna agregatu.
Abstract (english)
This work deals with diesel generators designed for maintaining of continuous power supply. Principle of work, and its analysis are both described for two key parts of generator: diesel engine, internal combustion engine; and generator. Furthermore, the work gives the main requirements for diesel engine, which is the prime mover, and for generator, as the fundamental electric part of generator. However, the generator itself does not fulfill all the standards in electric energy quality, hence the work gives an insight to UPS, system for maintaining of continuous power supply and the main supplement to generator
