Abstract
U današnje vrijeme, kako svijet sve više teži obnovljivim izvorima energije, energija sunčevog zračenja postala je jedna od značajnijih i učinkovitijih oblika obnovljivih izvora energije. U teorijskom dijeli završnog rada ukratko je opisano osnovno vezano za Sunce, sunčevu energiju i karakteristike sunčevog zračenja. Nakon toga dolazimo do opširnije opisanih fizikalnih osnova kao što su poluvodička dioda i fotonaponski proces koji nam pomažu shvatiti kako dolazi do pretvorbe sunčeve energije u električnu energiju. Na kraju teorijskog dijela opisan je način rada fotonaponskih ćelija i fotonaponskih modula te tehničke karakteristike i standardni testni uvjeti (STC) fotonaponskih modula. U praktičnom dijelu završnog rada pomoću mjernog instrumenta METREL MI 3108 EUROTEST PV ispitane su performanse polikristalnog, monokristalnog i HIT fotonaponskog modula. Iz dobivenih rezultata i analize mjerenja može se vidjeti utjecaj sloja prljavštine i degradacije na fotonaponskim modulima.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, as the world increasingly strives for renewable energy sources, the energy of solar radiation has become more significant and efficient form of renewable energy source. Theoretical part of this undergraduate thesis briefly describes basics related to the Sun, solar energy and characteristics of solar radiation. After that, we come to more detailed physical basics such as the semicondutor diode and the photovoltaic process which help us understand how solar energy is converted into electricity. At the end of the theoretical part is described how photovoltaic cells and photovoltaic modules work, as well as tehnical characteristics and standard test conditions (STC) of photovoltaic modules. In the practical part of this undergraduate thesis, the performances of polycrystalline, monocrystalline and HIT photovoltaic modules were tested using the measuring instrument METREL MI 3108 EUROTEST PV. From obtained results and measurement analysis, the impact of the layer of dirt and degradation can be seen on the photovoltaic modules.
