Abstract
U ovom radu opisane su neke od mogućnosti korištenja Twitterovog aplikacijskog programskog sučelja. Komunikacija sa Twitterovim API-jem temelji se na HTTP zahtjevima, GET i POST, te pruža brojne mogućnosti primjene istoga. Za autentikaciju korisnika i korisničkih aplikacija koristi se OAuth metoda koja pruža brojne biblioteke za sve programske jezike i platforme. Uz navedene i opisane softverske i hardverske primjere primjene API-ja izrađena je i aplikacija u HTML-u i JavaScript-u. Aplikacija na karti prikazanoj pomoću Google Maps API-ja pronalazi objave na ruti koju korisnik odabere sa oznakom koju odabere.
Abstract (english)
There are some possibilities of Twitter’s application programming interface described in this paper. Communication with Twitter’s API is based on HTTP requests, GET and POST, and offers many possibilities of API usage. OAuth method is used for the user and application authentication and it provides many libraries for all programming languages and platforms. Besides the software and hardware examples already mentioned and described the application in HTML and JavaScript is made. The application is used to find all tweets on a map presented by Google Maps API at the specific route chosen by the user and with the specific tag, also selected by the user.
