Abstract
VoIP tehnologija je brzo rastuća internetska usluga. Stekla je popularnost na način da smanji troškove međunarodnih telefonskih priključaka prijenosom glasa preko javne IP mreže. Danas se implementira u mnoge IP aplikacije, gdje se omogućava izravno te besplatno komuniciranje preko interneta, za ljude iz svih krajeva svijeta. Kao posljedica toga, VoIP tehnologija polako zamjenjuje tradicionalnu telefoniju. Veliki problem u VoIP komunikaciji je sposobnost pružanja kvalitete usluge (engl. QoS – Quality of Service) kod prijenosa multimedije i korištenja stvarno vremenskih aplikacija kao što je „live video streaming“. Ovaj diplomski rad se bavi problematikom kvalitete usluge kao i analizom i testiranjem QoS parametara (kašnjenje, kolebanje kašnjenja i gubitak paketa) na SIP protokolu. Ispitivanje se obavlja na VoIP mreži koja se koristi u zgradi Hrvatskog operatera prijenosnog sustava HOPS. Mjereni su brzina, kašnjenje, kolebanje kašnjenja i gubitak paketa te se rezultati uspoređuju. Analizom izmjerenih rezultata zaključeno je kako je HEP telekomunikacijska mreža dobro dimenzionirana, te zbog toga daje vrlo dobre rezultate kvalitete usluge.
Abstract (english)
VoIP technology is a rapidly growing Internet service. It has gained popularity by reducing the cost of international telephone connections by voice transmission over the public IP network. Today, it is implemented in many IP applications, where it provides direct and free internet communication for people from all over the world. As a result, VoIP technology slowly replaces traditional telephony. A major problem in VoIP communication is the ability to provide QoS (Quality of Service) quality when transferring multimedia and using real-time applications such as live video streaming. This graduate thesis deals with quality service issues as well as analysis and testing of QoS parameters (Delay, Jitter and Package Loss) on SIP protocol. Testing is done on the VoIP network used in the HOPS Transmission System Operator in Croatia. Speed, Delay, Jitter, and Package Loss are measured and results are compared. By analyzing the measured results, it was concluded that the HEP telecommunication network is well dimensioned and therefore provides very good service quality results.
