Abstract	Svrha ovog diplomskog rada je bilo objasniti pojam pametne mreže, razlog nadogradnje trenutnog elektroenergetskog sustava, glavne primjene pametnih mreža. Nakon definicija osnovnih pojmova slijede tehnologije i funkcioniranje pametne mreže, objašnjenje odgovora na potražnju i koji se uređaji koriste u pametnim mrežama. Zatim slijedi distribuirana proizvodnja električne energije te opis glavnih tehnologija distribuirane proizvodnje. Nadalje, spominje se tehnologija skladištenja električne energije u kojemu će dodatno biti opisani uređaji za skladištenje. Nakon toga dolazi opis utjecaja električnih automobila i pametnih brojila na samu mrežu. U zadnjem poglavlju računskim postupkom smo prikazali promjenu snage generatora i baterije sa različitim opterećenjima u 7 sati.
Abstract (english)	The purpose of this Master's thesis was to explain the concept of smart grid, the reason for the upgrading of the current power system, the main application of the smart grids. Following the definition of basic concepts follows the technology and functioning of the smart grid, explaining the demand response, and which devices are used in smart grids. Next, it follows distributed generation and a description of the main technologies of distributed generation. Furthermore, an energy storage technology is proposed, in which storage devices will be further described. This is followed by a description of the impact of electric cars and smart meters on the grid. In the last chapter of the computational process, we showed the change in generator power and battery with different loads in 7 hours.
