Abstract
U ovome radu opisano je kako i zašto se razvila potreba za sustavom za upravljanje baterijama. Dan je osnovni pregled terminologije korištene za opisivanje, klasifikaciju i usporedbu baterija, opisani su uzroci koji mogu dovesti do neuravnoteženosti ćelija te je proveden pregled postojećih sustava i topologija navodeći njihove prednosti i mane. Zatim, rad se fokusira na dizajn i implementaciju predloženog rješenja – aktivni sustav za balansiranje ćelija temeljen na zapornom pretvaraču. Opisan je odabir komponenti, provedena je jednostavna simulacija u svrhu utvrđivanja karakteristika i ponašanja sustava te je prikazan dizajn hardvera i softvera. Naposljetku, provedeno je testiranje izrađenog sustava koje potvrđuje njegovu funkcionalnost.
Abstract (english)
This thesis describes how and why the need for a battery management system has developed. It provides an introduction to the terminology used to describe, classify and compare batteries, describes causes that can lead to cell imbalance and gives a review of existing systems and topologies, listing their advantages and disadvantages. Then, thesis focuses on the design and implementation of the proposed solution – an active balancing system based on the flyback converter. Component selection is described, a simple simulation was performed to determine the characteristics and behaviour of the system and the hardware and software design is presented. Finally, testing of the assembly was carried out to confirm its functionality.
