Abstract
Ada Lovelace prva je osoba koja je napisala skup uputstava za takozvani analitički stroj, prvo računalo u modernom smislu, pomoću kojih je stroj automatski mogao izvrijedniti zadanu implicitnu matematičku funkciju. Prikazan je i matematički obrazloţen njezin algoritam pomoću kojeg se izvrednjava Bernoullijeve brojeve, napisan u takozvanoj Bilješci G, koju je napisala kao jednu od nadopuna prijevodu Bilježaka Luigija Menabreae o radu analitičkog stroja Charlesa Babbagea. Ada Lovelace je takoĎer zamišljala računalo opće namjene koje bi radilo s matematičkim simbolima, a moglo bi proizvoditi i grafičke i glazbene sadrţaje.
Abstract (english)
Ada Lovelace was first to write a set of instructions for the so-called Analytical Engine, first computer in the modern sense. Analytical Engine was designed to automatically follow given instructions for evaluating given implicit function. Ada Lovelace's pioneering algorithm for evaluating Bernoulli numbers from her Note G is presented and mathematically explained. She wrote the Note G while supplementing her translation of the Notes of Luigi Menabrea, taken during the lecture about Analytical Engine by Charles Babbage. Ada Lovelace had an idea about general purpose computer which would operate from an input with mathematical symbols, and could produce also graphical and musical content.
