Abstract
Žetva energije postaje popularna metoda napajanja elektroničkih komponenti koje za svoj rad zahtijevaju vrlo malu snagu. Sustavi žetve energije mogu napajati uređaje direktno ili posredno pohranom energije u bateriju ili super-kondenzator. U ovom diplomskom radu obrađena je verzija DC-DC „buck“ naponskog pretvarača, u integriranoj tehnologiji, koji je moguće koristiti u primjeni žetve energije. Opisani su elementi koji čine naponski pretvarač te povezanost međusobnih blokova kako bi se kreirao funkcionalan uređaj. Ulazni napon pretvarača je 3 V, a pretvarač ga spušta na 1.8 V pri čemu je potrebnu osigurati izlaznu snagu od 1.8 mW. Maksimalna frekvencija preklapanja naponskog pretvarača je 20 MHz. Za izradu integriranog kruga korišten je Cadence Virtuoso programski alat i CMOS TSMC018 tehnologija. Obrađeni su osnovni principi dizajniranja i efekti koji se javljaju prilikom dizajna i izrade integriranog elektroničkog kruga.
Abstract (english)
Energy harvesting is becoming a popular method of powering electronic components that require very little power for their operation. Energy harvesting systems can power devices directly or indirectly by storing energy in a battery or super-capacitor. In this thesis a version of the DC-DC "buck" voltage converter for the energy harvesting application is described. Voltage converter is implemented in integrated technology. The elements that make up the voltage conversion and the interconnection of functional blocks in order to create a functional device are described. The input voltage of the inverter is 3 V, and the inverter lowers it to 1.8 V, with requirement of an output power of 1.8 mW. The maximum switching frequency of the voltage converter is 20 MHz. Cadence Virtuoso software tool and CMOS TSMC018 technology were used to create the integrated circuit. The basic design principles and effects that occur during the design and processing of an integrated electronic circuit are discussed.
