Abstract
Diplomski rad pod nazivom "Mjerenje karakteristika svjetlovodnih kabela uz promjenu različitih parametara podatkovnog prometa“ podijeljen je u četiri glavna dijela. Prvi dio tematizira opću teoriju svjetlovoda, te njihovupovijest. Drugi dio govori o svjetlosti kao elektromagnetskom valu i njezinoj valnoj prirodi, kao i o geometrijskoj optici i njezinim zakonima. Treći dio se bavi svjetlovodnim nitima, njihovim vrstama i parametrima. Četvrti dio se odnosi na laboratorijska mjerenja u nekoliko različitih scenarija, te usporedbom dobivenih vrijednosti
Abstract (english)
Final thesistitled "Measuring of fiber-optics parameters by different traffic testing responce" is divided into four main parts. First partdeals withthe general theory ofoptical fiber , theirusage andhistory. Second partis about representation of light as electrmagnetic wave and its wave nature, and about ray optics and its assumptions as well.Third partdeals with optical fibers, optical fiber types and parameters. The fourthpart is related tolaboratory measurementsin several different scenarios, and comparison of gathered data andvalues.
